9/21/2023 0 Comments Diablo 3 necromancer gameplay![]() ![]() The play style was pretty simple as well, with the tactics obvious to anyone with experience at Diablo 3. (Which made it feel more like Diablo 2, ironically.) I don’t think this is some long term trend a Necro in a six-piece set will surely evaporate everything on GR50 in a blink, just like all the other classes in D3. With the generic gear the killing speed was way below what we’re used to with good equipment, which made the battles more tactical and clicky. ![]() The overall gameplay feel in the demo was fun and fairly simple. Playing as a Necromancer during the Diablo 4 beta period was fun and explosive, but seeing this class receive nerfs in time for the full launch in June is needed. The initial impressions appear to be good and you can read Flux’ full report over on Diabloii.Net right now. Although this is nice, it is a little broken.īefore the game fully launches, it would be great to see a nerf to either the number of skeletons that can be summoned or their summoned duration. And if you’re fighting regular monsters, they generally do all the work for you and tank much of the damage. While they can sometimes die when you fight a boss, they’re easy to re-summon. So when you have all your Skeletons summoned, you run around with a personal army. When playing the Necromancer class, you can have up to eight Skeletal Summons, depending on your build, and this doesn’t include your Golem. They need more strength and kill power, especially if the Necromancer class doesn’t receive any strong nerfs before the game fully launches in June. If there are no direct Necromancer nerfs, it would be great to see bosses and monsters getting buffed with more armor, exciting mechanics, stronger attacks, or even having their levels always one or two above your own. ![]()
